AirNet Announces Final Acceptance of All Commercial Systems --
AirNet Systems Exceeding Stringent Availability Requirements

Melbourne, FL, November 19, 2001 - AirNet® Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: ANCC), announced today that it has received Final Acceptance Certificates from every customer in North America, Asia, and Africa for 100% of its commercially deployed systems. All systems are operating at a level that exceeds the defined stringent availability requirements for North American Wireless Operators. These achievements demonstrate that AirNet's software defined base station solution is exceeding customer expectations and ultimately allows wireless service providers using the AirNet solution to provide maximum system availability to its end users.

"Having worked in this business for over 23 years, I know that final acceptance with no open issues is a significant achievement," stated AirNet's vice president of operations, Bill Lee. "The full acceptance by all of our valued clients validates AirNet's commitment to quality products and services through its processes and wireless expertise, but the real demonstration in their level of satisfaction and confidence with our solution is their repeat business."

"WestLink Communications selected AirNet in 1999 for the advantages provided by the AdaptaCell base station and the AirSite® Backhaul Free base station," stated Bill Hayden, chief executive officer of WestLink Communications. "The solution has not only met those competitive advantages but has proven to be a reliable, high availability system. Our market is in the rural areas of Kansas. AirNet's Backhaul free system is the only system which fits into our business plan."

"We have been a customer of AirNet Communications for over three years. The AirNet solution has allowed us to enter and expand our marketplace quickly using the innovative AirSite Backhaul Free base station. The system is highly reliable yielding the maximum benefit for our customers," stated Greg Hoffman, vice president of operations and business development for Pinpoint Communications."

AirNet has recently announced more than $7.5 million in new orders, expansion orders and large operator orders, all of which demonstrate confidence in the AirNet team and award winning high availability products.
